However, the moment you turn down our drive, you’ll find yourself immersed in a world of woodlands, streams, and the wild natural beauty of Western NC.
Our private estate is nestled on 400 acres with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. You won’t find traffic or city noise here! No need to worry about sharing space with other guests or reserving meeting rooms in advance. During your stay, the entire estate is available for your use, with no time limits or noise restrictions.
Relax and Rejuvenate Together
At the end of a long day of team-building and work meetings, you will find a place to relax and rejuvenate in our Old English manor and guest house. These spaces are specially designed to inspire community, with a commercial sized kitchen, dining room for 40+ people, movie theater, library with billiards, game room, and spa with a dry sauna and steam room. There’s something for everyone to enjoy!
You may also choose to gather in Twickenham Hall, which is conveniently located just a few steps away. This 4000 square foot space features the largest fireplace in NC and is perfect for large gatherings. The hall also provides multiple TVs for presentations, so you can easily share with your team. Soak in the warmth of a blazing fire on a cold winter night, meet around our farm tables to focus on work, or move to the back deck for cocktail hour on a summer evening. The options are endless!
Excursions and Team Building Opportunities
Corporate work retreats can be excellent for dedicated time on projects, but it’s also important to use this time to connect with your team! At Twickenham, we can help you plan excursions to local attractions such as golf, skeet shooting, kayaking, river tubing, fly fishing, and more. We also have ample opportunities for on-site activities. On request, we can organize cliffside yoga, painting or pottery classes, headshot workshops, beer and wine tastings, a bourbon and cigar bar, and more.

Twickenham House offers a commercial-sized kitchen for your use, but if you don’t want the hassle of cooking, you can include catering in your stay. From specialty breakfast omelets to a seated dinner, our private chef and catering team can work with you to create a dining experience that meets your needs and any dietary restrictions.
