Cliffside Terrace
As our most sought after ceremony space, the Cliffs boast some of the best long range-views in the High Country. Ceremonies of up to 190 guests can enjoy the mountain breeze and seclusion of Phoenix Mountain’s peak. After the formalities, surrounding peaks and jutting rocks provide dramatic, romantic portrait locations just steps away. Consider hosting your rehearsal dinner at the Cliffs or sneaking back up during dancing for a moment alone under the twinkling lights.
Ceremony on the Lawn
The Lawn is our most traditional ceremony location- perfect for the classic bride. Lush green grass is preceded by a forest of ferns and laurels with peeks of the long-range views we’re known for. Consider our hand-built cross as your ceremony backdrop or our twig arbor just yards away. Enjoy your perch from the stunning Master Bedroom, watching your guests arrive in anticipation!
Twickenham Hall Ceremony
In the event of rain, chill, or simply preference, our Reception Hall doubles as a rain location for ceremonies. Choose between wooden x-back chairs or our signature clear illusion chairs for guest seating.
Twickenham Hall Reception
Our Reception Hall boasts the largest fireplace in North Carolina, custom chandeliers, white draping and a brick-top bar. Set the fire ablaze for a fall or winter wedding, or fill it with ferns, candles, or lanterns in the summer and spring. Farm tables and your choice of banquet chairs are always included!
The Reception Hall is nestled among the trees and features a wrap-around deck to extend the space. End the night with a sparkler exit down our brick pathway and introduce your bridal party through our french double-doors. Neutral enough to fit any style, the Hall seats up to 190.
Host your cocktail hour or rehearsal dinner on the Reception Hall’s attached back deck- or turn it into a dance floor under the stars. Stone-top cocktail tables, patio tables, and matching chairs are always included. Consider renting a tent to extend the covered space in the colder months or on a rainy day.
Pre-Wedding Festivities
We’re all about celebrating every moment! We’ve curated special places across the estate to make your wedding day preparations fun for all involved. Twickenham has several gorgeous spaces for the Bride and her tribe to get ready on the big day. The Versace Room—accented with luscious silk drapes, delicate antiques, and natural light galore—is our most popular.
The Billiards room is warm and inviting with a wood-burning fire place, billiards table, window seat, and antique seating galore. The perfect place for grooms and their parties to take a shot of whiskey, pin boutonnières, and play pool until it’s time for the ceremony.
