Frequently Asked Questions

 Can we bring our dog?

Yes! Twickenham is very pet friendly and has no breed or size restrictions. There is currently a $125 per pet fee for pets staying in the house. Your dog is welcome to attend the ceremony and the reception!

Can we use real candles?

Yes! You are welcome to use real candles as long as they are dripless (for the taper variety) or inside a glass cylinder or holder.

Can all of our guests park on-site?

Guests who are staying overnight may park on-site, but all other guests are shuttled to the property. This allows for maximum safety of guests and flow of the event. Guests love receiving a 5-star ride in a luxury van to your wedding and back! Your planner is happy to tell you more about event shuttling- which is contracted through one of our two preferred vendors: Wilcox Travel and Airhaven Limo Service.

What is your maximum capacity for events?

Twickenham Hall can accommodate up to 190 guests, as can the Cliffs.

Are you backed up in the event of an outage?

Yes! Twickenham is backed up by Cummins generators.

Can we throw confetti?

Natural confetti (dried lavender, fresh rose petals, leaf confetti) is allowed, but glitter, plastic, rice, and faux petals are prohibited.

Are you handicap accessible?

Yes! The Cliffs and reception hall are all accessible by ramp as is one bedroom in the Twinkie guest house. A wheelchair is provided if one is needed.

Are chairs and tables included?

Yes! Ceremony chairs, patio tables and chairs for cocktail hours, and our stunning farm tables and 2 reception chair options are included with every event!

Do you have noise ordinances?

Nope! Twickenham is a private estate where there are no noise restrictions.

Do you allow live bands?

Absolutely! Twickenham hosts many live bands every year. Your planner will coordinate each band’s specific needs with the venue.

Do you require event insurance?

Twickenham requires the purchase of a $99 incidental insurance policy that covers damages to the estate. As a venue, we are fully licensed and insured. We also require a policy on a sliding scale that covers alcohol liability, cancellation, and postponement.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

Alcohol for the reception must be purchased through Twickenham’s in-house catering partner, Morchella Provisions. Morchella Provisions has affordable and all-inclusive packages to fit every event from domestic beer and wine all the way to premium liquor! Don’t see what you want? Ask us to create a custom package.

Do you allow fireworks?

Twickenham does allow sparkler exits and entrances and we even provide extra-long sparklers for just $1 each! Large firework displays must be performed by an insured professional. Paper lanterns may be released by the Bride and Groom for a photo, but not by all guests due to the risk of wildfire.
