What’s included in the booking process?
We recommend scheduling a call or tour so you can experience why Twickenham is the perfect fit for your celebration.

How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking 12–18 months in advance, especially for peak season (May–October) and Saturdays. Some couples book two years out, while others find dates with just a few months’ notice—availability depends on your flexibility!

Amenities & Venue Features

Are you handicap accessible?
Yes—wheelchair access at The Cliffs, reception hall, and one bedroom in the Twinkie guest house. A wheelchair is available upon request.

What amenities are included with the venue?
Billiards room, chess/checkers, sauna, steam room, movie theater, air hockey, foosball, lawn games, hiking trails, pickleball courts, basketball courts, and more!

Do you have noise ordinances?
Nope! Twickenham is a private estate with no noise restrictions.

Do you have decor on-site?
Yes! We have a large décor inventory. Link.

Do you allow live bands?
Absolutely! Your planner will coordinate band logistics.


Catering, Bar & Alcohol

Can we bring our own alcohol?
Alcohol must be purchased through Morchella Provisions, which offers customizable beverage packages.

Do you offer in-house catering?
Yes! Catering is provided exclusively by Morchella Provisions for both event meals and on-site stay meals.

Can I bring my own caterer?
No—outside catering is not permitted.

Are there additional costs I should know about?
Possible extras include:
• Catering during stay

• 18% gratuity on catering
• 3% credit card fee (avoid by paying via check)
• Rentals (sparklers, heaters, dance floor, fireplace setups, etc.)
• Dog fee ($125/pet)

Do you require event insurance?
Yes—$99 incidental insurance plus an additional sliding-scale policy for alcohol liability, cancellation, and postponement.

What's your weather contingency plan?
We offer multiple backup options:

Can I hire my own event planner?
Twickenham requires you to use our in-house coordinator or planner unless you booked the venue after securing your planner.

What are your noise and time restrictions?
None! Celebrate as long as you like.

When can I access the venue for setup?
Since stays are required, you can set up anytime during your stay—and our staff handles all setup.

Can I schedule a rehearsal?
Yes! A rehearsal is included.

Accommodations & Stays

Do you discount Sunday or weekday weddings?
Yes:
• Sunday weddings: 20% off venue fee
• Monday–Wednesday weddings: 30% off venue fee

Do I have to stay on-site?
Fri/Sat Weddings: 3-night stay required (Thu–Sun)
Sunday Weddings: 1-night stay (Sun night)
Weekday Weddings: No overnight stay required

Are there accommodation options nearby?
Yes, we have on-site lodging plus recommended off-site options.

Pets & Guest Policies

Can all of our guests park on-site?
Guests staying overnight may park on-site.
All other guests are shuttled for safety and convenience via our preferred vendors: Wilcox Travel & Airhaven Limo Service.

Do you allow dogs?
Yes—Twickenham is very pet friendly.
• $125 per pet fee
• No size or breed restrictions
• Dogs may join the ceremony & reception!

Décor, Candles & Send-Offs

Do you allow a sparkler exit?
Yes! We also offer extra-long sparklers for $1 each.

Do you allow real candles?
Yes—dripless tapers or candles enclosed in glass cylinders/holders are permitted.

Can we throw confetti?
Allowed: natural confetti (lavender, rose petals, leaf confetti)
Not allowed: glitter, plastic, faux petals, rice

Do you allow fireworks?
• Sparkler entrances/exits allowed
• Large fireworks only by an insured professional
• Paper lanterns permitted only by the bride & groom for photos

Special Policies

Do you require shuttles?
Yes, for all off-site guests on wedding day.

Are you backed up in the event of a power outage?
Yes—Twickenham is generator-powered.

Do you allow real flame candles?
Yes!
